New Bullet Journal Preparations

By January I expect to be done with my Leuchtturm1917 journal, so I picked up a nice Filofax domino from ebay to be my next bullet journal.  I'm already much happier with the binder layout.  I can scrap pages I'm not pleased with and remove the pages for more flexibility in drawing.  Makes such complicated designs like the wheel of the year a lot easier to do for me.

WiP - Skull Design

I draw this shit entirely too much, I know, but this one's a bit of a practice for my new bullet journal I'll be starting in January.  I can't seem to settle on any pre-made designs as far as dividers and dashboards go, so fuck it, I'm making my own!  This one is either going to be my core BUJO section divider or my BoS section.  Not quite sure yet and it depends on another design I'm slowly piecing together in photoshop.

Throwback - Emaciated

 

I'm not doing a very good job at making myself draw more, so let's try to encourage me with an old sketch I think I did pretty nicely on.  It's lacking harmony in a few places, now that I look back on it, but I still enjoy it.  It was heavily inspired by one of my current favorite indie games, Darkwood. ;P

Wasn't the best day at work, but I made myself sketch something.  I'm really bad at keeping up with sketching when I don't have a very definite concept planned out beforehand and that's something I'd like to improve with myself.  I need more spontaneous sketchwork in my life tbh.

August Journal Calendar

Pretty late on this one, but due to the excitement of the trip I didn't really have the time to fill them in as I went. Here it is tho! August's journal calendar.  This month I decided to do some light coloring with my mildliners.  I think it helped a lot of them pop and look more complete. ♥

Ps. Yup, välipala is missing the I.  It is fixed on the page, but I'm too sick and exhausted to redo the photos, so deal with it.

Count the Magpies [2/3]

There we go, finally finished.  It took me entirely too long on that, but with me being pretty sick it's not surprising.  All in all, these are pretty fun and the result is satisfying. C:  I hope Muge is as happy with it.

I wasn't able to completely finish this before I wanted it done (today, for our three month), because I was super sick.  But we also really couldn't do anything at all because of it either.  Hopefully tomorrow I'm feeling better so we can, and right now I'm feeling alright enough to slowly work on finishing.  Thanks to working while getting progressively more sick last night, my bosses were able to see I wouldn't be able to make it in tonight and I got that out of the way as early as possible.

But yes!  This is the work in progress of part two (of three) to this. :>  I'm real excited to get the series completed, I'm very pleased with how they're turning out.  I'll do a nice collage once I do so everyone can see part one.
