The Latest Valentine's Day Gift Ever

Harakka (or "magpie" in Finnish) is Naali's husband.  I've been working on this piece for longer than it should have taken me, but I was using a hugely different brush and style, so I was pretty uncertain about it.  Taking a lot of inspirations from the Darkest Dungeon style, thought a lot grittier and dirtier (intended).

It's actually the latest Valentine's day gift on the face of the earth too. :D  I was visiting my beb in Finland during the actual day of Valentine's, so I wasn't connected with any of my tools for digital stuff.  I had to plan it for my return and with how far departed from my normal style it is, it took me longer than I would've liked. ;3;  But it is done and he said he loved it, so tentative success! <3

Portrait - Magda Lis

So when I mentioned a Magda portrait, this is more along the lines of what I had in mind. P:  It's so damn bright, but she loses the albino look if I darken anything so rip everyone's eyes lol

I'm moderately pleased with this, I guess...wish I could fine-tune some of the little details I can't seem to get. :I  I really need a better brush for this kind of thing...meeeh.

Regardless, enjoy my babe <3  She is my little girl, I love her so much aahhhh~

Telle's Arctic Fox Sketch Commission

The magpie's mother needed an arctic fox image for her article. :P  So she commissioned me to do a quick sketch for her.  It's very nighttime over there right now, so I'm still waiting on her to green light it, but I think it looks pretty nice as is.  I hope it's up to snuff <3

In Maggie's Loving Memory

My birthday gift and contest entry for Heichukar~  We were to pick one of her OCs and do a piece of them. <3  I'd been meaning to do a Corien one for quite some time now, and this became a good opportunity for it. :P  So, super happy birthday to you!  I hope you like it and it lives up to Corien standards ;P

Slowly but surely I've been piecing this together of the past three-ish weeks -- and then as fast as possible over the last one lol.  The beginning stages were rough, I couldn't quite get my eye on something I liked - then this came out of nowhere. :3    Armed with many Bloodborne references and a personal lore-keeper, I got in many little things to add a good finish.  Wooo~

My hand almost fell off when I did each individual leaf behind the grave ;____;  I knew it would be hellish lol  BUT I DID IT, AW JE

It's quite possibly The Best and Most Complete Thing I've Done For Years™ lol

I made some huge progress today, woooo~  I'm really terrible at backgrounds, but I've managed to impress myself. :D  For now, at least.  I'm sure I'll change my mind at some point.

My hand's killing me and how the frick did it become 5pm???  I really lost the time while working on this...

Sometimes, I forget how crazy it can get...yikes. Not supposed to be an actual good piece, just punching through artblock as best I can. :|  It's really bad the past two-ish week.

January Journal Calendar 2017

I'm still playing catch-up with these, because I lost track when my trip started mid-Jan and didn't get back to it. So yup, I still have to do the whole month of February and maintain March in the meantime. 8)

Drunken Redraw

I was sipping on some rum + dr. pepper last night while in Don't Starve with buddies.  After we'd finished up for the night an old friend of mine on deviantart mentioned old Condemned OCs and my girl Jackie enabled the fuck out of my idea to redraw so...here's the drunk version. XD

I say "drunk version" because there will be a sober version, but yea...it's not done yet.  As you can see, I couldn't be fucked to trim off how the places where the canvas was bigger than the original image pft.

Honestly, not bad for being drunk.  I did already start the sober version, and it's quite a bit departed from the original (wanted a better perspective, this one just gave me too much shit).  Look back on this now though, I'm considering just going over this one (new lineart, better painting, etc).

We'll see what I eventually end up with, lol.
