[Bloodborne] CHOIR Magda Lis - first look LINEART

Magda is super smol so this Choir garb looks kinda funny on her lol. It's also missing a lot of the more intricate detailing, like on the hems and whatnot. Needless to say my hand really hurts 😂

Dead By Daylight Anika

Anika in her DeadByDaylight iteration. Since I've been playing with a buncha DbD blogs on Anika's RP blog and it was necessary. Now looking at this, there should've been a bloodied version for her prestige reward lol.

But! The reason there's two is because I wanted to really show what that neat shirt is like. It's one of my personal favourites to wear, though it's lacking some designs on the hood. It's a cyberdog piece 😉

WiP - Anika's Main Outfit

Two sketch versions later, I have the first draft of Anika's main outfit.  Obviously still needs quite a bit of work, but I'm still pleased.  It's the best her jacket's come out so far, same for her skirt.  Her leggings and boots are giving me hell.

Unfortunately I've been experiencing a lot of problems with my tablet's drivers lately, so that on top of how long it's been since I've utilised my tablet has clearly left me a bit shaky and rusty.  I don't plan on that being for too long though.

Happy Hallowe'en & Merry Samhain

Done much earlier than Samhain, but it was Samhain inspired - as well as inspired by the hoodie my bro has promised to get me for Yule.  I am that excited about receiving it. XD

As you can see, I busted out a golden marker for the moon, although I wish I'd have gone a little more outside my comfort zone and did a gold watercolour for it.  I hate seeing all those strokes.  But I already went quite out of my zone for the lines - I rarely line anything in ink anymore, but I think I'm pretty pleased with it.  Despite liking my pencil work as it is more often. :P

And as of recently, Anika's last name is Kivinen.  She's a Finnish with and spooky girl after the rework.  I like to think of her as a selective way to practice what Finnish I learn pft.

Not sure what to do with her hands (and neither does she most of the time lol), and her shoes aren't done, but I like how it looks so far. c:  Her hair is nice and for once I don't feel like I fucked up her legs PFT

This has been sitting around waiting to be finished forever and tbh it's not done lol.  I have a background in the works for it, but I don't wanna do it right now, so enjoy Wiebke showing up transparent.  She still looks nice. <3

It almost seemed as if this one wasn't going to be finished tonight, but alas, here it is.  She also managed to get named too!  Working on other stuff, but it's late and I'm tired.  I'll most likely be drawing her in a lot more clothes eventually too.

WiP - New Edge Girl to Torture

Based on this old thing from last year, if anyone remembers that. P:  I've clearly got more in mind for her wardrobe than her actual looks lmfao.  I can't decide on her eye shape beneath all that damn makeup.  I'll get there, it'll just take time to get through the aesthetic first PFT.

She is still unnamed.  I'm taking suggestions.  I have no idea what I'm even looking for in this regard...so we'll see.

I initially considered re-purposing Magda for this, but this character is meant to be a much different kind of personality, so that would have meant completely scrapping all of Magda's stuff and I've already put a lot of love into that, so...time to commit to something entirely new.

WiP - Višnja Lusk Reference

I hope to have this and her official file done within the week. >:I  Don't let my depression destroy my muse like it has been lately aaaghh..  I have so much to do before my trip and I can't even bring myself to start >.<

I'm much more pleased with the coat now that I've referenced the original coat I was inspired by instead of trying to half-ass it from memory lol.  Also waaay better gun holster on the leg.  Yes yes.

Next I give her the big gun >:3  Stay tuned <3  And hopefully some colour will happen...

Sketch Dump - Višnja Lusk

Recent conversations and a cool new website have led me to dig deep within my OC pit and pull out ancient dear ones.  For a while I was fixated on Nika, because she among my longest running and favourite OCs. ♥

But then there's the underappreciated Višnja Lusk~  I was still pretty terrible at art when I was drawing for her, so I'm rather happy with my recent throwback to her. :)  Her face looks much more like I imagined it initially, now that I have some ability to render it.

I plan to do much more of her, as this isn't her full/normal outfit. I just wanted to nail down her physique and whatnot. :P I'm really happy with her hair, I used to hate it because of how flat it always came out, bleh. Can't wait to put the big gun back in her hands too. ;)

Magda Stand Alone

It’s not one of the two things I’ve been meaning to do with Magda, but it is a stepping stone in getting them done. :B  I’ve been having difficulty getting her right, so here’s a piece of her sheet I’ve decided to do.  What better way to teach yourself to draw your own character than a study sheet? Lol

I mainly wanted to nail her “main” outfit with this.  Her style is like dark-mori-meets-business, if that makes any sense.  Lots of darks, neutrals, and earthy to contrast her albino-ness.

Speaking of albino, holy shit is it hard to really nail that down.  Practice practice~  Soon she will have a proper portrait, and I’ve got a special piece in mind for a friend ;)

I ended up re-doing her almost immediately after posting the left one, so she’s…either albino or a ghost, idk lol.  It definitely closer to the mark than before, however haha.  Also, hello more in-depth shading and highlights.

Lineart - Magda Lis

So idk if I'll be colouring this one, at least not today.  Anyway, Magda Lis is a dark, sombre little OC with a long history in the medical and criminal fields.  She's a coroner's assistant, so she tends to see some pretty gruesome shit.  And even moreso in her night job as a part-time cleaner.  Cleaner meaning she cleans up murder sites - often times for mercenaries and criminals.  One wouldn't think so by looking at her, of course.  Naturally, she tends not to do a lot of the heavy-lifting, but she's got a lot of knowledge and with her connections to the coroner, she has valuable intel (for the right price, of course) too.

More throwback due to inactivity wooo~  Haven't really been feeling great lately.  Experiencing a lot of lethargy and quasi-sick in my gut.  Hopefully it passed now that my weekend is here.

Thought I'd go into a bit of a process for this. Keeps things interesting. :P This is how I usually do things digitally.  Although I tend not to do such shading as on the last one often, this was more of an exercise to see if I could manage that style.  I generally prefer to "paint," per se.  Still, I consider it one of my more successful finishes. :>

So!  Have this here~  It's an old OC set in the Magic the Gathering setting.  Very short-lived and ultimately recycled a lot of concepts elsewhere, but I enjoyed her. :>
